About Me:

Claudette L. Barrett-March is an Acting Principal Lecturer at Shortwood Teachers’ College. Her current position is Director of Practicum, Projects and Professional Development at the college. She has been a Science Educator for 27 years and has more than 20 years of experience in adult education. Claudette is an active environmental activist who subscribes to the idea that, if children at an early childhood age are taught how to carry out friendly environmental practices, sustainable development will be a reality. Claudette holds a PhD in Leadership, with special focus on Sustainability in Higher Education. She also has expertise in Knowledge Management, Leadership and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Curriculum Development, Environmental Education for Sustainable Development, and Science Education. Her ultimate goal is to become a consultant to educational organizations that are seeking to deliver quality services relevant to building a sustainable, self-motivated, knowledgeable, productive workforce. She is dedicated to preparing agents of social change.
