About Me:
Career Educator starting out in Chemistry Education and moving over to CompSci Education. Have built and implemented highly-recognized CS programs on the high school level in multiple school systems. Tandy Award Winner in 1994 for CS education, Sigma Xi Award Winner in 1981 for Chemistry ED and Research (1st in State of KS), Tech and Learning Magazines Teacher Tech Leader of the Year for 2011. Started and implemented the first high school student chapter of the ACM in 1994 and have sponsored two other chapter since. Known for co-authoring with over 70 high school students in professional, blind, peer-reviewed conferences or journals since 1994. Former president of sigCS of ISTE. Have held Associate Professor posts in three separate Universities.
