About Me:
I run Broad-based Knowledge a consulting firm that focuses on the evaluating the use of technology assisted teaching and learning. I have extensive experience evaluating and disseminating technology innovations in STEM education. My work in engineering, the physical sciences, social sciences and mathematics has given me a broad perspective on the individual needs of disciplines as well as the value of interdisciplinary efforts. Recently, my research has centered on the problems associated with encouraging adoption of innovations by instructors. Other research includes studying the impact of computer mediated learning on student and faculty roles and organizational change related to the institutionalization of innovation.
