About Me:

Ms. Flowers taught high school mathematics for 12 years. She has been an instructional coach/partner since 2009 in Madison City Schools at Discovery Middle School. She is a Cohort One member of the Instructional Partner’s Pilot in the State of Alabama. Ms. Flowers is now the Secondary Instructional Partner Specialist for Madison City Schools at their Central Office since May 2013. Ms. Flowers is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and has been named to Who's Who Among American High School Teachers. She has written book reviews for The Mathematical Association of America (http://mathdl.maa.org/mathDL/19/?pa=reviews&sa=viewBook&bookId=67202). Ms. Flowers served on the advisory board for Mathematics Illuminated which won the Webvisionary Award for 2008 in the Educational/Resource category (http://sward13.net/mathematics-illuminated-wins-webvisionary-award/). She consulted on units five and nine, Other Dimensions and Game Theory (http://www.learner.org/courses/mathilluminated/).
