About Me:
Joy grew interested in Children’s Media while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development at the University of California of San Diego and became passionate about learning more about children while working in the intercity schools in Los Angeles. Joy continued her studies and received her Master’s Degree in Library Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a focus on Youth Services and Literature. Once she grew to understand the power of media in helping to reach children in all socioeconomic and culture groups, she knew Children’s Media was the right career for her!
