Kati, a National Board Certified Teacher, holds an Ed.S. degree in Instructional Technology and was one of the first teachers in Georgia to earn an online teaching endorsement. She has presented at numerous face-to-face conferences across the United States, as well as two international virtual conferences, on the topic of Authentic Assessment with Digital Tools. In 2012, she was named the Georgia Gifted Educator of the Year. In 2013, she was named a DEN Guru (Discovery Educator Network).
