About Me:
As the Technical Manager for WDIN since 2004, Megan has worked on the development of many web-based mapping and mashup applications, is well versed in using open source APIs, geospatial visualization tools, and is interested in the development of data driven websites and information feeds (RSS, GeoRSS, KML) to aggregate and disseminate wildlife health information. She has created several on-line applications including the Global Wildlife Disease News Map, a geospatial representation of the Wildlife Disease News Digest contents. She was instrumental in the development of two online reporting systems, SEANET - the Seabird Ecological Assessment Network and WHER - the Wildlife Health Event Reporter.
