About Me:
I have worked in higher ed for almost twenty years out here in beautiful BC, teaching general, analytical and environmental chemistry. I have had a research focus since 2006 on the use of remote online instrumentation as a teaching tool for chemical analysis and have also developed kit based laboratory courses for distance general chemistry which include online components. I am interested in incorporating and assessing 21st Century skills in laboratory curriculum, and the use of technology for encouraging laboratory discussion and reflection. Other research in analytical method development, water treatment and environmental analysis.
