About Me:
Valery Selzer Siegel, M.Ed.,is a Literacy Coach- EdTech. Valery is a Literacy Expert for Eastern Suffolk BOCES, Published Author and a Founder of the Cold Spring Harbor Educational Foundation 501 (3)(c) located on Long Island, New York. Her revolutionary approach to integrating technology across disciplines has resulted in her creating the STEMx Toolkit. Valery is an educational consultant who holds professional development seminars, speaking engagements in the public and private educational sector, as well as utilizing online mediums such as Blackboard Collaborate and google + for webinars and meetings. Valery's STEMx Toolkit introduces educators (K-16) across the United States to innovative EdTech tools through customized programs and hands-on workshops. Upcoming events include having been selected as one of only 150 facilitators around the world by the Ted-Ed Pilot Program and is presenting a workshop at FETC 2014. Valery, a former business executive, received a B.A. in English from Binghamton University, a M.A. in Elementary Education from Adelphi University and is a NYS certified teacher K-6 and 7-12, English. Valery is a candidate for a M.S.in Educational Technology from NYIT.
